Crime Fighters of Louisiana strives to protect victims of violent crime and advanced victims’ rights. Through nearly three decades of pro-bono advocacy work including, legal efforts, awareness, and education, their highly specialized team of activists also provide law enforcement officials with a tool to enforce compliance of restraining orders, warrants, sex offender registry, and parole.
The Problem
In operating a responsive advocacy organization, Crime Fighters of Louisiana encountered distinct obstacles in data management. To better serve victims, they had to overcome deficiencies in data aggregation, search capabilities, and real-time interactive reporting of vehicle analytics and location details for analysis.
The Solution
By harnessing features of both Oracle Database and APEX, Adjacent Solutions built an intelligent, user-friendly Public Servant application integrated with Google Maps and a private network of advanced image capture equipment. Utilizing APEX, Crime Fighters of Louisiana is able quickly and successfully manage alerts, cameras, and location information of over 300 cameras to support victim safety and justice.
